We use this information for the provision of services, including the provision of this on-line platform for users. We also use your information to improve our platform, to prevent a misuse of our website or to uncover such a misuse or to enable third parties carrying out technical, logistic or other services on our behalf.

We also use the data communicated by you for the fulfillment and completion of the contract. We also use your information to communicate with you about our services, to update our records and to maintain and service your customer accounts. Only after registration for the newsletter is your email address and ‑ if you permitted it – your phone number used for our own advertising purposes until you un-subscribe from the newsletter. 2.2 The personal data collected by us will be sent within the framework of the execution of the contract to any subcontractors contracted by us, where this is necessary for execution of the contract.

2.2. PayPal reserves the right credit to perform a credit check for payment methods using a credit card via PayPal, direct debit via PayPal or – where available – “Purchase on Account” via PayPal. PayPal uses the results of the credit check to determine the statistical probability of debt default in order to decide whether to provide the respective payment method. The credit information may contain probability values (so-called score values). When score values are included in the results of the credit check, they are based on a scientifically recognized mathematical and statistical method. Among other things, address data is included in the calculation of the score values. 3. Cookies

In order to make your visit to our website more attractive, and to enable you to use certain functions, we use so-called cookies on certain pages. These are small text files that are stored on your end device. Some of the cookies we use are deleted after the browser session, that is, after you close your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your end device and enable us and our partner companies to recognize your browser on your next visit (persistent cookies). You can set your browser so that you are informed about the use of cookies and decide individually on whether to accept them or to deactivate acceptance of cookies, either in certain cases or entirely. If cookies are not accepted, our site may have limited functionality.

4. Use of Social Plug-Ins

4.1. Our site uses so-called social plug-ins (“plug-ins”) from the social network Google+, which is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). The plug-ins are, for example, on buttons with the sign “+1” visible on a white or colored background. You will find an overview of Google+ plug-ins and their appearance here: https://developers.google.com/+/Plug-Ins.

When you visit a page of our website that contains a social plug-in, your browser establishes a direct connection to Google’s servers. The content of the plug-in is transferred by Google directly to your browser, which then embeds it into the page. By integrating the plug-in Google receives the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a profile on Google+ or are not currently logged into Google+. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted by your browser directly to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

If you are logged into Google+, Google can directly link your visit to our website to your Google+ profile. If you interact with the plug-ins, by pressing the “+1” button, for example, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a Google server and stored there. The information is also posted on Google+ and displayed to your contacts there.

Please see the Google privacy policy for information on the purpose and scope of data collection and its further processing and use of data by Google, as well as your rights in this regard and settings options to protect your privacy:

https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/

If you do not want Google to associate the data collected on our website with your profile on Google+, you should log out of Google+ before you visit our website. You can completely prevent loading the Google plug-ins with add-ons for your browser, such as using the script blocker “NoScript” (http://noscript.net/).

4.2. On our site, the so-called social plug-ins (“plug-ins”) from the social network Facebook are used, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). The plug-ins are marked with a Facebook logo or the words “social plug-in from Facebook” or “Facebook social plug-in”. You can find an overview of Facebook plug-ins and their appearance here:http://developers.facebook.com/Plug-Ins.

When you visit a page on our website that contains a social plug-in, your browser establishes a direct connection to Facebook’s servers. The content of the plug-in is transferred by Facebook directly to your browser, which then embeds it into the page. By integrating the plug-in, Facebook receives the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a profile on Facebook or are not currently logged into Facebook. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted from your browser directly to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there.

If you are logged into Facebook, it can directly link your visit to our site to your Facebook profile. If you interact with the plug-ins, for example press the “like” button or make a comment, this information is also transmitted directly to a Facebook server and stored there. The information is also posted on your Facebook profile and displayed to your Facebook friends.

For the purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, as well as your rights in this respect and setting options for protecting your privacy, please see the privacy policies of Facebook:

http://www.facebook.com/policy.php.

If you do not want Facebook to link the data collected on our website to your Facebook account, you must log out from Facebook before visiting our website. You can also completely prevent the loading of the Facebook plug-ins by installing add-ons in your browser, for example “Facebook Blocker”

4.3. The functions of the Twitter service are embedded into our website. These functions are offered by Twitter Inc., 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit a page of our website that contains a plug-in of this sort, your browser establishes a direct connection to Twitter’s servers. The contents of the plug-in are delivered by Twitter directly onto your browser and embedded in the page. By means of this integration of the plug-in, Twitter receives information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a profile on Twitter or are currently not logged in to Twitter. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted by your browser directly to Twitter.

If you are logged in to Twitter, Twitter can link your visit to our site directly to your Twitter account. If you interact with the plug-ins, for example by pressing the “tweet” button, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a Twitter server and stored there. The information is also published on your Twitter account and displayed to your contacts there.

You can find the purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of data by Twitter, as well as your rights and options to protect your privacy, in the Twitter Privacy Policy: https://twitter.com/privacy.

5. Usage of Google AdWords Conversion Tracking

This website uses the on-line advertising program “Google AdWords” and conversion tracking as part of Google AdWords. We use cookies for conversion tracking, if a user clicks on an ad delivered by Google. Cookies are small text files which are saved on your computer system. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If you visit certain pages within our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can recognize that you have clicked the advert and have been directed to this page. Each Google AdWords advertiser has a different cookie. Thus, cookies cannot be tracked using the website of an AdWords advertiser. The information obtained using the conversion cookie information is used to create conversion statistics for the AdWords advertisers who have opted in to conversion tracking. These AdWords advertisers can find out the total number of users who have clicked on their advert and were directed to the page using the conversion tracking tag. The advertisers do not, however, obtain any information that can be used to identify users personally. If you want to not participate in the tracking, you can object to this use, by slightly disabling the Google conversion tracking cookie via your Internet browser under user settings. By doing so you will not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.

At the following Internet address, you will receive more information about the Google privacy policy: http://www.google.de/policies/privacy/.

In the cases of re-targeting technology, a cookie is stored on your computer or mobile device to collect anonymous data about your interests and to customize the advertising individually based on the stored information. These cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer or mobile device. You may prevent the setting of advertising cookies permanently by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb.
